I know as many lawyers and city types who voted for Brexit as did Remain, and likewise for gardeners, carpenters, plumbers etc. Unless very carefully defined, it is completely meaningless. First take the term “elites.” This glib, trash term is overused, over-hackneyed and should have no place in your lexicon. Max Hastings knew this and presciently forecast it would all blow up.
